Who can join

You must be 18 or over, looking for marriage and have a UK mobile number. Staff check a photo ID at your photoshoot to confirm your age.

Your profile

Your photos are taken by staff at a partner cafe. Profile text can't include phone numbers, emails, links or @handles. Your date of birth and gender can't be changed later without contacting shofa.social.

The house rules

You agree to the house rules. Cafes can ban people from their cafe. Anyone banned at 2 or more cafes, or reported by 3 or more different people within 90 days, is suspended automatically and reviewed. A permanent ban blocks that phone number from signing up again.

Cafes and payment

Photoshoots are sold by the cafe at its own till, at a price the cafe sets. They're a purchase from the cafe. A photoshoot includes three cafes. Extra cafes cost £2.50 each or £7.99 a month. Partner cafes are independent businesses.

Meetings

Meetings take place at partner cafes, in public. shofa.social doesn't take part in meetings and can't guarantee anyone's conduct. Use the safety guidance, block and report.

Leaving

You can pause or delete your account at any time. Deleting removes your profile and photos straight away.
