Report a concern
Anyone can report a concern, including members, parents and chaperones, cafe staff and people who aren't on shofa.social. The person you report is never told who reported them. If someone is in danger now, call 999.
If you're a member
Report from inside the app, on the person's profile, wave, match or booking, where you can block them at the same time. Sign in to shofa.social to do it.
If you aren't a member
Email hello@shofa.social (placeholder) with what happened. Include the cafe and the person's profile code if you know them. Each profile has a short code, such as #K4P2, under the photos.
The reasons you can give
- Not serious about marriage
- Approached without a wave
- Inappropriate behaviour in person
- Harassment
- Doesn't match their photos
- May be under 18
- Something else
Every report goes to shofa.social. One linked to a cafe also goes to that cafe's staff, without your name. Read about reports, bans and suspensions and UK helplines on the safety page.
